Species At Risk Mural 2/2

This piece illustrates various Species at Risk in Alberta currently listed by the Alberta Wildlife Act! With a status of sensitive, at risk, threatened, or endangered, all of these species populations are under threat for various reasons, with many relating to the Anthropocene / human impacts on ecological and environmental well being of the landscape.

This second mural features the swirling eddies of natural watercourses with bull trout , west slope cutthroat trout, and rainbow trout swimming within them, and the tracks of a hungry grizzly fishing for their next meal ashore, across the way from some tall soapweed flowers.

10’ x 3’ outdoor mural - latex on concrete. Completed for BUMP Road Works Program 2025.
